You’ll learn foundational slab and pinch techniques to form a balanced cup that fits comfortably in your hands, a complementary saucer, and if there is enough time, a functional clay strainer designed to rest gently across the rim. We’ll focus on proportion, refining edges, thoughtful details, and subtle surface textures. Participants can choose clean, minimal lines or add carved, or botanical elements for a more expressive finish.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and supportive, while still offering depth for those with experience. The process itself becomes part of the ritual, grounding, creative, and calm.

All clay, tools, glazing, and two kiln firings are included. After the workshop, pieces will be carefully finished and glazed, then ready for pickup within approximately 4 weeks.
